Cantar Community Choir, York

Formed in February 2015 by people with a passion for choral singing, we are a non auditioning choir with a wide ranging repertoire (Tallis to Les Miserables) and a reputation for being one of York's friendliest choirs. We enjoy sharing platforms with other choirs. We have performed at the National Centre for Early Music, and have twice been invited to perform at the Castle Howard Christmas events. Any profits from concerts are shared between two charities chosen each year by choir members. We are 60 strong and not currently recruiting - unless you are a soprano who can comfortable reach top A.
