Nidd Chorale

We are a small, mixed chamber choir, formed 13 years ago to sing a blend of sacred and secular music from Renaissance to contemporary, for audiences mostly in and around Nidderdale, but happy to travel further afield. Our common bond is a love of singing and performing a wide range of music to a high standard. We have commissioned two works in recent years, The Nidderdale Carol by Andrew Bryden in 2008, and Spring Madrigals by Philip Wilby in 2010, both with words by Guy Wilson, a long-standing choir member. Rehearsals are at Summerbridge Methodist Church on Mondays from 7 – 9 pm, with our conductor, Margaret Mitchell and accompanied by Diana Critchley. We currently have vacancies for a tenor and a bass, but welcome interest from anyone in the Nidderdale area who enjoys singing.
