Northern Aldborough Festival Voices provide moving choral music from the Italian Renaissance, by composers including Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina and Lodovico Viadana, for the Festival Eucharist.

One of the most acclaimed musicians of the 16th century, Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina held prominent positions in the Roman musical establishment. He wrote a tremendous number of musical works, leading to international fame and vast influence. Centuries after his death, his music endures. The Festival Eucharist features composer Lodovico Viadana. A choirmaster and priest, his joyful Exultate Justi in Domino is in the dramatic Italianate 'Seconda Pratica' style developed by composers such as Monteverdi and Cavalli.
